The strategy of Jellycat breaking through in the era of "healing economy" are analyzed
This study addresses the critical question of how consumer goods brands achieve strategic resilience during systemic shocks, through examining Jellycat's 72% revenue surge (£146M, FY2022) and 30% net margins amidst the pandemic (2019-2023). Building on crisis management theories by Sheffi & Rice (2005), we propose a tripartite analytical model integrating demand insight, value creation, and competitive barrier engineering. Key findings reveal three resilience mechanisms: 1) Neurosensory monetization through 5μm tactile textiles and 0.35-0.45 rebound coefficients generated 2.3× price premiums, outperforming industry's 1.7× average; 2) Artificial scarcity systems (30% annual product retirement) created 800% secondary market premium, establishing collector-driven demand elasticity; 3) Glocalization paradoxes manifested in 12% logistics cost inflation despite 42% UGC-driven cross-border sales.
