Implementation of RAB Driver in Unikraft Environment
RapidIO is a high-performance, packet-based interconnect bus technology that offers high bandwidth, reliability, and a flexible topological structure, making it ideal for system interconnection in embedded applications. This paper focuses on a high-performance signal processing SoC designed for embedded systems, which utilizes both the RapidIO and AXI protocols. A RapidIO-to-AXI Bridge (RAB) is employed to facilitate protocol conversion. To optimize the use of RAB hardware in resource-constrained embedded environments, this paper presents the design and implementation of an RAB driver in the Unikraft environment, enhancing data transmission efficiency through a DMA functional module. Furthermore, a QEMU-based virtual platform is used to validate the driver's functionality and stability. Experimental results demonstrate that the driver is both reliable and stable, confirming its feasibility for practical applications.
