Innovative Application of Dynamic Spectrum Allocation in Intelligent Completion
With the development of intelligent completion technology toward multi-layer and high-density measurement and control, traditional fixed spectrum allocation models in single-core cable DC carrier communication systems face challenges such as intensified spectrum resource competition and increased signal crosstalk. This paper proposes an innovative dynamic spectrum allocation method that dynamically optimizes spectrum resources by real-time sensing of communication demands from downhole nodes across layers, combined with Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technology and Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) algorithms. The system incorporates a downhole Spectrum Management Unit (SMU), integrating tunable filters and frequency synthesis modules to enable rapid subcarrier switching and adaptive power adjustment. Field tests demonstrate that under conditions of 150° C temperature and 5000 -meter well depth, the system achieves a communication rate of 6000 bps, reduces the Bit Error Rate (BER) to 0.5 %, improves spectrum utilization by 40 %, and supports 10 layer independent measurement and control. This technology provides an innovative solution for efficient multi-layer communication and real-time control in intelligent completion systems.
