Integrated Sensorless Control Strategy for PMSM: Improved SMO with PLL and Improved SMC-DPCC
In the medium and high-speed sensorless control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM), traditional Sliding Mode Observer (SMO) face issues of high-frequency chattering and estimation accuracy. This article proposes an improved SMO to address these challenges. Additionally, conventional PI control struggles to adapt to the nonlinear characteristics and poor dynamic response of PMSM. To overcome this, the enhanced Sliding Mode Controller (SMC) is introduced in the speed loop, and Deadbeat Predictive Current Controller (DPCC) is employed in the current loop, replacing the traditional PI controller. Finally, through simulation and comparative testing on MATLAB/Simulink, the experimental results demonstrate that the proposed integrated control method effectively reduces system chattering and enhances control accuracy and dynamic response capabilities.
