Analysis and Optimization of Transmission Characteristics in MCR-WPT Systems Based on an Improved Dung Beetle Algorithm
Parameter variations in magnetically coupled resonant wireless power transfer (WPT) systems significantly affect transmission efficiency and output power. The present paper puts forward a methodology for the optimization of WPT systems with an LCC-S compensation topology, based on an enhanced dung beetle optimization (DBO) algorithm. The method is designed to ensure that output power remains within a predefined range while concurrently enhancing transmission efficiency. An equivalent circuit model is established using coupling theory, and the effects of mutual inductance, load resistance, and operating frequency on system performance are analyzed in MATLAB. The proposed algorithm integrates chaotic mapping for population initialization, a dynamic spiral search strategy, and elite opposition-based learning to enhance global search ability and convergence speed. The system parameters are optimized using the improved DBO algorithm, and a simulation model is developed in Simulink to validate performance. The simulation results show that the system achieves a transmission efficiency of 97.87%, demonstrating the effectiveness of the algorithm. The proposed approach offers theoretical guidance and practical value for WPT system design and optimization.
