A Novel Image Encryption Algorithm Based on Discrete Chaotic Mapping
Edge computing frameworks can to some extent address the privacy protection issues of cloud computing architectures, but computing migrations at the edge still face privacy information leakage issues. To cope with the urgent need for privacy protection, this paper proposes a novel chaotic mapping encryption algorithm for protecting sensitive information in images. The algorithm forms a new chaotic system by combining the properties of improved logic mapping and sinusoidal mapping. Experimental results show that our proposed chaotic mapping algorithm has wider chaotic intervals and more uniform point distributions than the traditional logical chaotic mapping and sinusoidal chaotic mapping. In terms of security, the information entropy value of the proposed algorithm is 1.3% and 1.2% higher than that of logic mapping and sinusoidal mapping, respectively.
