A New AC-DC Hybrid Microgrid Network for Critical Loads in Mountainous Areas

With the development of AC/DC hybrid microgrid, the grid design of microgrid has become a research hotspot. This paper proposes a microgrid network framework suitable for critical loads in mountainous urban centers, comprehensively utilizing distributed energy sources such as photovoltaic, small hydropower, and configuring a collector-type energy storage system in the microgrid to realize the smooth transition of the microgrid during the loss of power from the main grid, and to improve the power supply reliability of the microgrid. This paper describes the topology and functional units of the grid in detail, and simulates the work of the microgrid in each operating state through simulation, which verifies that the proposed grid has high power supply reliability, high power quality and engineering practicability.
