Laser Induced Graphene Based Electroimpedance Sensor with Imprinted Polymers for Serum Protein Analysis
This work explores the suitability of laser induced graphene (LIG) as an alternative electrode material to screen printed or cleanroom deposited metal for electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, to create a fully disposable protein biosensor. The viability of LIGs as a reproducible electrode material for biochemical sensing and biological sensing is investigated using a stamp-imprinted polymer layer as the sensing layer and the neuronal protein, alpha-synuclein, as the target protein biomarker for Parkinson's Disease in serum.
