ENGLISH LEXEMES AS NEOLOGISMS
Every living language fullfills its function through its variations and changes.First of all, the vocabulary expands, because of the scientific, technical and social changes: the renovations and renewals need to be expressed in words. In the following I intend to present what vocabulary expansions does the English language results in the Hungarian language, how do we understand or don't understand these words as neologisms, and is it possible to replace them with native words.English is the world language.Itis the main communication tool for politics, business, commerce, IT, media, technology, popculture, tourism, sport.English became the language of global communication thanks tot he political, economical and cultural influence of the USA and Great Britain.(the Esparanto language for instance, cannot be a world language due to its lack of serious political and economical power, literature, culture, etc.).The research, determination and classification of neologisms has been the subject of liguistics for a long time.I describe the new words in the following ways:-neologisms according to time occured in our language recently.-from the perspective of the speaker -unknown linguistic expression.-from the perspective of stylistic effect -one time, casual expressions used by poets, writers or journalists.-from the perspective of stratification of vocabulary neologisms usually occure in one lingustic layer.English words presented in this work occured in the Hungarian language for different reasons, their presence is obvious, however, they may be replaced with native expressions. The research may be continued by examining other foreign words and replacing them with native equivalent according to how much they have spread though the Internet and in what context may they fulfill the role of a fitting native synonym. This, however, calls for another study. This study also mentions the classification of neologisms, the naturalization of neologisms and lexemes with English origin in the Hungarian language, the possibility of replacement with native equivalent.
