LONG-TERM SOCIAL EFFECTS AND ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY OF URBAN DEVELOPMENT FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES IN THE POST-WAR PERIOD IN UKRAINE
This article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the consequences of russian aggression in Ukraine, focusing on the rising number of individuals with disabilities caused by military actions. The relevance of rehabilitation, social adaptation, retraining, and employment opportunities for this category of citizens is substantiated. Statistical data and forecasts are provided. International experience in the integration and professional retraining of people with disabilities, utilizing modern digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and barrier-free urbanism, is analyzed. Key directions for the implementation of modern barrier-free urban development projects in Ukraine are identified, including the use of public-private partnership models. Recommendations are proposed for the establishment of inclusive residential clusters equipped with infrastructure and employment opportunities, aimed at fostering economic independence among veterans and reducing the financial burden on the state.
