Multi-Band Pattern Synthesis of Time-Modulated Arrays Based on IPM
The local optimum in convex optimization is the global optimum. Thus, converting the array synthesis problem into a convex one can enhance pattern synthesis efficiency. This paper proposes an interior - point - method (IPM) - based pattern synthesis algorithm to address the issues of numerous pre - processing units, high code complexity, and poor portability associated with the CVX toolbox as a convex optimization algorithm. This algorithm effectively reduces the sidelobe level. Simulation results indicate that compared to the CVX algorithm, the peak sidelobe level of the center frequency band in the IPM algorithm's pattern synthesis increases by 0.003 dB, while the peak level of the first sideband decreases by 0.4255 dB, achieving low - sidelobe multi - band dual - beam pattern synthesis.
