Clinical application value of MRI plain scanning combined with transvaginal ultrasound for early diagnosis of cesarean scar pregnancy
Objective:To investigate the clinical application value of magnetic resonance image (MRI) plain scanning combined with transvaginal ultrasound for the early diagnosis of cesarean scar pregnancy. Methods: 65 patients with early pregnancy at uterine scar admitted to our hospital from March 2020 to December 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. The diagnostic results and imaging analyses of transvaginal ultrasound alone, MRI plain scanning and the combination of both were compared based on surgical findings. RESULTS: MRI plain scanning combined with transvaginal ultrasonography was significantly higher (P < 0.05) in sensitivity, accuracy and specificity (92.31%, 93.85%, 94.23%) compared with MRI plain scanning (50.00%, 66.15%, 70.58%) and transvaginal ultrasonography (57.14%, 64.62%, 66.67%). Conclusion MRI plain scanning combined with transvaginal ultrasonography has high sensitivity, accuracy and specificity, providing a reliable differential diagnosis basis for early diagnosis of post-caesarean section keloidal pregnancy, which is worthy of promotion and application.
