Rolesand Benefitsof ICT in Inclusive Education: An analysis ofthe benefits of ICT

Technology has emerged withmany developments. Information and communication technology (ICT)hasbeen initiatedin the education sector in Zimbabwe.This paperbriefly describesthe roles and benefits of ICT in inclusive education. Specification on children with disabilitiesand learning difficulties,many researchers have noted that ICTplays an important role for these learners by bridging the gap. With specific examples of ICTs, the paper reviewed other studies. It gavean analysis ofthe benefits of ICTto learners with diverseneeds,thus those withdisabilities and learning difficulties.The use ofICTs promotesthe equal participation of all students in the educational system and consequently preparesthem for everyday life outsideof the school. In the educational processes, ICTs have positive effects onthe inclusion of children withdisabilities andlearning difficulties.
