Research on the Tang Dynasty’s Epitaph of Cui Jing

崔儆出自唐代望族博陵崔氏，一生历经安史之乱，在朝堂和地方皆有任职记录。研究其墓志，不仅能补充传世文献的记载，纠正其历官、子嗣等错误，还能了解安史之乱下世家子弟任职的情况，加深对崔儆、崔元略、崔器等人的认识，感受唐朝重袝葬的风气。Cui Jing was from the prominent Boling Cui family of the Tang Dynasty. Throughout his life, he witnessed the An Shi Rebellion and had records of holding positions both in the imperial court and in local areas. Studying his epitaph can not only supplement the records in the extent literature, correct the errors in his official career and descendants, but also help us understand the situation of the descendants of noble families holding positions during the An Shi Rebellion, deepen our understanding of people like Cui Jing, Cui Yuanlue and Cui Qi, and feel the custom of returning to burial in the Tang Dynasty.
