Efficiency of using Humic Preparations to Increase the Yield of Spring Wheat in the Conditions of Northern Kazakhstan

This study evaluates the effectiveness of a locally produced humic preparation, Humate with CO, in improving spring wheat yields in the forest-steppe zone of Northern Kazakhstan. When applied both before sowing and as a foliar topdressing, the fertilizer increased wheat yield by an average of 66% compared to unfertilized controls. No negative effects, such as plant burns, were observed when agronomic practices were properly followed. The highest yield, 41.7 q/ha, was achieved at a dose of 6 L/ha, exceeding the control by 18.3 q/ha.Similar improvements were recorded at doses of 2 L/ha (36.6 q/ha) and 4 L/ha (38.4 q/ha).The preparation also shortened the maturation period by 2-3 days and increased plant height by 4-7 cm.These results suggest that Humate with CO enhances nutrient uptake, accelerates phenological development, and promotes vegetative growth, even under limited rainfall conditions.Further research should investigate its long-term impact on soil health, economic feasibility at scale, and application to other crops and regions. This study contributes to sustainable fertilizer practices and food security in Kazakhstan and similar environments.
