After assessing the pre - test stress level, on same day administering the structure knowledge questionnaire. Post test knowledge assessment was conducted on seventh day by administering the structure knowledge questionnaire. Results: Mean of the pre- test and post - test was (11.14) and (20.38) and Standard Deviation of the pre- test and post- test was (2.11) and (2.28). The Mean difference was (9.24). The calculated ‘t’ value (41.69) was greater than the table value (2.0) at 0.05 level of significance. This showed that there was a significant difference between pre - test and post - test knowledge score among housewives. Calculated chi square value was not significant with variables like Age, religion, education status, type of family and family income.
