Socialization of Loading and Unloading Procedures Based on Lean Logistics to Minimize Downtime at the Kediri City Goods Terminal

The loading and unloading process at the goods terminal often experiences downtime due to inefficient procedures, queues, and lack of coordination. Lean Logistics is a solution to minimize wasted time and increase productivity. The objectives of this Community Service (PKM) activity are: (1) Increasing workers' understanding of the principles of Lean Logistics; (2) Socializing standardized loading and unloading procedures; (3) Building an efficiency-oriented work culture. The method used is direct socialization at the Kediri City Goods Terminal with an educational approach through brochures, banners, and two-way interactions. As a result, participants understand the importance of eliminating waste, standard operating procedures (SOP), and collaboration between parties. Supporting factors include financial support from Poltrada Bali and driver enthusiasm, while the main obstacle is the limited time of participants. This activity is recommended to be carried out periodically by involving driver associations and terminal management.

The loading and unloading process at the goods terminal often experiences downtime due to inefficient procedures, queues, and lack of coordination. Lean Logistics is a solution to minimize wasted time and increase productivity.
