Soft Switching Control of Isolated Resonant Switched Capacitor Converter with Consideration of Parasitic Capacitance
Isolated resonant switched capacitor converter (I-RSCC) features with voltage self-balancing, low voltage stress and fewer switching devices, which shows potential in DC-DC conversion. However, the parasitic capacitances of switching devices participate in the resonant process during dead time, causing resonant current step and hard switching condition. in this paper, soft switching condition is derived based on the analysis of dead time effect. Then the soft switching control method is proposed, which optimize the dead time to achieve soft switching and improve the operation efficiency. Finally, experimental platform is conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control method.
