Linear Interpolation Methods Both for Node and Branch Connections Applied on Moving Reluctance Network Model

This paper proposes a new method to obtain smooth movement in reluctance network model (RNM). RNM is built following local connection rules with distributed magneto-motive forces model considering both horizontal and vertical ones. In which, a linear interpolation-based method is introduced to guarantee the continuity of the node magnetic potentials across the sliding interface. Furthermore, additional branch connection constraints are put forward by linear interpolation-based method to ensure the continuity of branch magnetic fluxes along the sliding interface. Considering the both linear interpolations for node and branch connection constraints, the computation accuracy of the movement in RNM is improved. The effectiveness of the proposed is verified in comparison with finite element method under both static and dynamic conditions.
