Research on Energy-Efficiency of Amorphous Alloy Motor Based on Ansys
In recent years, amorphous alloy materials have gradually gained importance in motors. In this paper, a study is carried out around the energy-efficiency of amorphous alloy motors, and the efficiency of motors is improved through the selection of materials and winding types without changing the structural parameters of motors. Firstly, the influence of iron-core materials selection on motor efficiency is analyzed through the iron-core consumption trinomial. The loss distribution of nonoriented silicon steel DW310 and amorphous alloy 2605SA1 applied to the four selection schemes is discussed. Secondly, the winding types were classified into four aspects, and 13 winding types were summarised. The effect of winding type on the motor's efficiency is discussed in iron-core materials selection schemes. Then, the influence of the selection of different materials for rotor cage bars and end rings on the copper loss is analyzed. The results show that the motor efficiency can be improved up to 95.8 % by adopting appropriate iron-core material, winding type, cage bar and end ring material selection. Moreover, the iron-core material selection can reach the IE5 energy-efficiency class by adopting schemes 3 and 4, and scheme 3 has a better economy.
