Performance Evaluation and Analysis of Position Sensorless Control with Initial Speed Estimator for High Response Flying-Start
Position sensorless control for Permanent-magnet synchronous motors has been investigated in numerous studies, but the transient performance issues of flying start at high speed are still a major problem. In our previous research, an initial speed estimation method was proposed, and the high response flying-start is realized. In this paper, the characteristic of the approximate error is qualitatively analyzed, and the flying-start performance evaluation results are reported.
