Preventive Control Model Considering Static Safety Constraints for Interconnected Power Grid
This paper proposes a preventive control model for interconnected power grids, which considers the static voltage stability, the thermal stability, and the transaction power limits. The preventive control model aims to minimize the control cost, with constraints including feasibility constraints under normal operating conditions, static voltage stability constraints, thermal stability constraints, and active power constraints of transmission interfaces between regional power grids under the contemplated fault conditions. This not only ensures the static voltage stability and thermal stability of interconnected power grids under various operating conditions, but also meets the transaction power limits between regional interfaces. In view of the hierarchical and partitioned management characteristics of interconnected power grids, a decomposition-coordination interior point method is adopted to solve the proposed optimization model. Simulation results demonstrate the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed preventive control model for interconnected power grids.
