Research on Voltage Compensation Capability of a Novel Hybrid Distribution Transformer Considering LCL Filter Influence
To address the insufficient voltage sag compensation capability of hybrid distribution transformers, a novel hybrid distribution transformer topology is proposed. The characteristic of this topology is that the converter topology in the hybrid distribution transformer can be reconstructed to enhance the voltage sag compensation capability. Additionally, by integrating PV equipment on the DC side, the voltage sag compensation capability of the proposed HDT can be further improved. This study analyzes the influence of PV integration on the voltage sag compensation performance of the novel HDT, while also considering the influence of the LCL filter at the converter output side on the compensation capability. The compensation capability boundaries are analytically derived, and the compensation range is quantified. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed topology and the accuracy of the compensation capability analysis are validated through PLECS digital simulation.
