Experience in the use of liquefied natural gas as a gas motor fuel in technological transport
The article analyzes the prospects for using liquefied natural gas (LNG) as a motor fuel in industrial transport. Key aspects of LNG application are considered, including its environmental, technogenic and economic benefits compared to traditional fuels. International experience of using LNG in different countries, such as China, India, Iran, Egypt, Brazil and others, where this type of fuel has become widespread, is described. The key features and an example of LNG transportation and refueling infrastructure at mining sites are considered. Particular attention is paid to Russian experience and problems associated with the development of LNG infrastructure.
