Optimization of the formation of three-dimensional models of surface objects using a terrestrial laser scanner
Based on experimental data, the article defines optimal approaches to the formation of three-dimensional models of surface objects of various sizes. Boundary conditions for the use of polyurethane reflectors and tacheometric prisms as reference points are established. The presented research results allow us to optimize the positioning of point clouds depending on the scale of the scanned object, which significantly accelerates the creation of three-dimensional models of mine workings and undermining buildings.
