A Terminal Vibration Suppression Strategy Based on Single-Integral Multi-Damping Feedback Control for Permanent-Magnet Magnetic Drive System

Permanent-magnet magnetic drive system is widely used in special fields with high safety requirements ranging from chemical, nuclear to energy fields because of its non-contact power transmission characteristics. However, this inherent flexible torque transmission is easy to cause terminal vibration when the speed and load change, which may greatly deteriorate the system control performance. To solve this problem, a terminal vibration suppression strategy based on single-integral multi-damping feedback control is proposed in this paper. Differing from the conventional integral-proportional controller, the proposed strategy can achieve both good vibration suppression and low overshoot under response high-bandwidth condition by combining multi load-states feedback into a single integral controller to construct an active damped control structure. Finally, experimental results verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed vibration suppression strategy.
