Research on Internal Discharge Faults and Light Gas Production in Transformers
After a light gas alarm occurs in the transformer, the traditional method mainly relies on manual oil and gas drainage in the gas collection box, and determines whether there is a fault through ignition testing. However, this method can only identify the combustibility of gases and cannot analyze the corresponding relationship between gas components and specific fault types, resulting in a lack of accurate diagnosis for light gas alarms, which may cause disposal delays and evolve into serious faults. To this end, this study established a simulation test platform for transformer breakdown discharge and systematically analyzed the mapping relationship between different fault types and light gas components, providing a multidimensional diagnostic basis that combines physical and chemical characteristics for early identification of rapidly developing discharge fault types inside transformers.
