Dynamically Reconfigurable Three-Phase Inverter
This paper presents a step-by-step methodology for a three-phase inverter to dynamically reconfigure the active modules to adapt to real-time output power requirements. The proposed strategy can effectively determine the number of bridge legs based on the output current and a hysteresis controller parameter. Furthermore, this research simplifies efficiency calculations by incorporating functions of four types of losses. The proposed reconfiguration strategy enhances system adaptability and improves efficiency by up to 0.47 % compared to the permanent interleaving structure. This study validates the effectiveness of the proposed strategy in MATLAB/Simulink simulations, where alternating activation and deactivation of the bridge-legs are illustrated.
