Research on Integrated System of PMSM Drive and Battery Heating
The performance of lithium-ion batteries significantly deteriorates in low-temperature environments, restricting their usability in cold regions. This paper proposes an integrated solution for electric vehicle motor drive and battery heating. The approach utilizes the energy exchange between the battery pack and an energy storage capacitor to generate charge and discharge currents, thus achieving internal heating of the lithium-ion battery. Additionally, this paper investigates AC and DC control methods for the battery heating system and analyzes harmonic current suppression techniques. The simulation and experimental results demonstrate that the proposed control scheme achieves the desired bus current.
