H-SecNet: Lightweight and Adaptable Security Framework for IoT-Integrated Consumer Electronics
The integration of IoT with consumer electronics is continually evolving to include advanced virtual interfaces such as holographic counterparts, raising new challenges to ensure secure, real-time interactions under resource constraints. To address issues related to device integrity, communication security, and energy-efficient processing, this paper proposes HoloSecureNet (H-SecNet), a lightweight and adaptable security framework. H-SecNet incorporates three core components: a Privacy-Aware Lightweight Integrity Verification (PALIV) mechanism for real-time device validation, a dynamic holographic key exchange system that generates secure session keys through device-hologram interactions, and a modular encryption model that combines symmetric and asymmetric cryptography to support scalability, heterogeneity, and low-power operation in IoT environments. The framework is evaluated using benchmark datasets, TON-IoT, Edge-IIoTset, and FedAIoT. Experimental results show that H-SecNet achieves up to 97.5% accuracy, reduces latency to 700 ms, and maintains energy consumption at 3500 J.
