Flood Detecting Vehicle using ESP32 via Call/Text Alert and Anti-Mutilation Circuit
Flooding in the Philippines is a persistent, serious problem that leaves the country particularly exposed to the devastating impacts of severe tropical cyclones and heavy rains. This project aims to solve the problem of widespread vehicle damage from floodwaters, a general problem in many cities of the world, and in particular in Cagayan de Oro City. Towards this, we have designed a system that integrates an anti-mutilation circuit and the real-time calling system to monitor the status of a vehicle during the flood. Made for any vehicle with an Electronic Control Unit (ECU), our device is designed to safeguard not just the ECU and battery, but all the important electrical systems, reducing the risk of immersion damage and saving you the cost of restoring them to as new condition.
