Assessing the Learning Impact of a Vehicle Electrical Security System Trainer on Automotive Students
This research focuses on the assessment of the learning impact of a Vehicle Electrical Security System Trainer designed for automotive students. In response to the lack of effective instructional materials on vehicle electrical security systems, the researchers aim to fill this gap by developing a durable, functional, and educationally effective trainer. Utilizing the Input-Process-Output (IPO) model, the study incorporates real vehicle components such as power windows, door locks, and alarm systems mounted on an acrylic panel to simulate real-world scenarios. The trainer's accuracy was assessed through both alpha and beta testing phases. These evaluations were conducted to ensure that the trainer functions as intended and meets the required educational and technical standards. Functionality, aesthetics, and safety were evaluated by experts, while its learning impact was assessed among 30 TVL automotive students from Deped Lapasan. This research provides a model for future instructional innovations in autotronics and technical-vocational education.
