Cross-checking the geometric effects in heavy-ion collisions at 500 MeV/nucleon
Employing the isospin-dependent Boltzmann-Uehling-Uhlenbeck transport model, the 500 MeV/nucleon deformed uranium-uranium ultracentral collisions are simulated. The impacts of high-momentum tails caused by short-range correlations and the symmetry energy in high-density regions on geometric effects are discussed under different reaction orientations. The high-momentum tails increase the isotropic average momentum, thereby diminishing the geometric effects on collective flow from coordinate space. Simultaneously, symmetry energy does not significantly impact collective flows. Both higher momentum and softer symmetry energy lead to an increased pion meson yield, with the former reducing the ${\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}/{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}$ ratio, while the latter increases it. Finally, we further analyze the mean square elliptic flow ratio of neutrons to protons in the body-body and the nonpolarized collisions, noting that as the symmetry energy softens, this ratio also decreases. The related results will facilitate the study of nuclear properties in deformed nuclei.
