Taxonomic note of the genus Anisodactylus (Coleoptera: Carabidae) from Korea

According to previous studies, a total of four species in two subgenera have been recorded in Korea. Through this study, a new combination is proposed here: Harpalomimetes fukiensis (Jedlička, 1957) = Anisodactylus ( Anisodactylus ) fukiensis (Jedlička, 1957) n. comb. In addition, Anisodactylus ( Anisodactylus ) fukiensis (Jedlička, 1957) and Anisodactylus ( Hexatrichus ) mandschuricus Jedlička, 1942 are newly recorded from Korea. Photographs of adults, taxonomic key, morphological characteristics are provided herein. • A taxonomic revision of the genus Anisodactylus (Coleoptera: Carabidae) in Korea is presented. • A new combination is proposed, and two species are reported as new records from Korea. • An updated taxonomic key and detailed morphological diagnoses are provided. • High-resolution habitus and genitalia images are presented to support accurate identification.
