Exploring low-lying resonances in proton-rich nitrogen isotopes by complex scaled Green’s function method

The low-lying resonances in proton-rich nitrogen (N) isotopes have been investigated by the complex scaled Green's function (CGF) method, which is proposed as a reliable tool for studying the novel phenomena in 9 N, [Formula: see text]N and [Formula: see text]N. In 9 N, the spin-parity 1/2[Formula: see text] and 1/2 − states are recognized as broad resonances. For [Formula: see text]N, we investigate the properties of its lowest energy levels, including resonant states and potential deformation effects. This study is extended to describe the [Formula: see text]C(p, [Formula: see text])[Formula: see text]N reactions in [Formula: see text]N, consistent with experimental and theoretical results. The proposed framework can provide valuable insights into the resonant behavior of proton-rich N isotopes and demonstrates the effectiveness of the CGF method in studying nuclear reactions involving these isotopes.
