Evaluation of Development Quality of Park City in Chengdu, China, Based on the Combined Weighting Model and TOPSIS Method

Taking the construction of Park City in Chengdu, China, as a case study, this research establishes an evaluation indicator system for Chengdu Park City based on the pressure–state–response (PSR) model and the three-dimensional spatial system. Through Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) comprehensive analysis and cluster analysis, the results show that the overall development quality of Chengdu Park City is relatively low and unevenly distributed among the three circle areas of Chengdu. The pressure indicator of Park City exhibits a U-shaped structure, the state indicator of Park City shows a three-level stepped feature, and the response indicator of Park City follows a normal distribution. Overall, the Park City Index is arranged in a three-level step-like pattern in Chengdu, with the highest level in the first circle area, followed by the second circle area, and the lowest level in the third circle area, with significant regional differences.
