Analysis and application of the recursive comparative compensation method

This paper studies the application of the recursive comparative compensation method (RCCM) to improve the beam-pointing accuracy of two-dimensional phased array antennas. It analyses the impact of different recursive compensation unit sequences on the beam-pointing accuracy of the two-dimensional phased array. A phase quantization method for two-dimensional phased array antennas is designed and compared with the traditional rounding method, which can improve the beam pointing accuracy by an order of magnitude.

Abstract

This paper studies the application of the recursive comparative compensation method (RCCM) to improve the beam-pointing accuracy of two-dimensional phased array antennas. It analyses the impact of different recursive compensation unit sequences on the beam-pointing accuracy of the two-dimensional phased array. A phase quantization method for two-dimensional phased array antennas is designed and compared with the traditional rounding method, which can improve the beam pointing accuracy by an order of magnitude.
