Bit error rate’s simulation of BFSK signal transmission in different channels based on mworks
Bit Error Rate (BER) is a crucial performance indicator of communication systems, directly reflecting the reliability of the communication system. This article is based on the domestically developed simulation platform MWorks, using Julia language and utilizing functions such as fskmod, awgn, comm-RayleighChannel, comm-RicianChannel, and biterr in the communication toolbox, to simulate BER of BFSK signals in three different channels: awgn, Rayleigh, and Rician. The results show that both the Rayleigh fading channel and the Rician channel have a significant impact on the system’s BER, which seriously affects the communication system’s quality. Various technical measures need to be taken to improve the reliability of the communication system. In addition, the simulation results also show that the MWork platform can complete relevant simulations of communication technology, and its performance can be comparable to Matlab.
