MIMO magnetic induction communication with optimized power allocation algorithm
To address the issue of limited channel capacity in MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) magnetic induction (MI) communication systems, this study proposes an optimized channel selection and power allocation method based on the linear water-filling algorithm. The proposed approach aims to enhance the channel capacity of wireless MI communication systems through efficient power allocation. First, a power allocation scheme for MIMO communication channels is constructed using the linear water-filling algorithm. Subsequently, the channel capacity of the wireless MIMO MI communication system employing the linear water-filling algorithm is derived, enabling optimized power allocation at the transmitter to improve overall system performance. Finally, MATLAB simulations are conducted to compare the performance of equal power allocation and the linear water-filling algorithm. The results demonstrate that, under the same signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) conditions, the linear water-filling algorithm significantly increases channel capacity. Moreover, as the number of transmitting antennas grows, the improvement in channel capacity becomes even more pronounced. This study provides an effective solution for optimizing MIMO MI communication systems, offering both theoretical insights and practical benefits for enhancing wireless communication in challenging environments.
