Research on control strategy and economy of intelligent start stop system for automobile
A manual transmission passenger car was taken as an example, the architecture design and basic control strategy of the engine intelligent start stop system were studied. Firstly, the economic simulation model of the entire vehicle was built and comparative simulation calculation and analysis of the start stop system on and off was conducted under NEDC operating conditions. Then, the economic comparison test was carried on the vehicle with the intelligent start stop system on and off. The results show that manual transmission passenger cars equipped with intelligent start stop systems have significantly improved fuel economy through simulation and testing, with fuel saving effects exceeding 4%. The consistency of the instantaneous fuel consumption process curve is good.
