Awareness and early warning technology of underwater positioning sensor for channel regulating structure and underwater geological hazard body based on underwater acoustic communication

This research endeavors to enhance the efficacy of underwater monitoring for channel regulation structures and adjacent geophysical changes by leveraging wireless acoustic wave communication. The system designed in this study includes underwater module, surface module and cloud-based data processing platform. Rigorous testing in aquatic environments such as rivers and ponds has ascertained that transducers operating at lower frequencies exhibit superior penetration capabilities and extended propagation ranges underwater. The empirical data elucidate a nonlinear relationship between acoustic intensity and distance traveled, with residual intensity being inversely proportional to the square of the distance. The deployment of this wireless sensor network facilitates sustained and dynamic surveillance of riverbed deformation, thereby providing precise insights into the mechanisms of damage and deformation in underwater structures. This technology significantly bolsters the capacity for early detection and prevention of geological disasters, thereby augmenting the suite of tools available for hydrological research and water resource stewardship.
