The Law on Credit Institutions No.32/2024/QH15 was passed by the 15th National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at the 5th extraordinary session on January 18, 2024 (Law on Credit Institutions 2024). The content of the Law on Credit Institutions 2024 has many positive new points, which are assessed to have contributed to ensuring the financial activities of credit institutions develop healthily and stably. In this article, the author has deeply analyzed and assessed the impact of new points on handling bad debts according to the Law on Credit Institutions 2024.
