Inteligencia artificial y gamificación como recursos inclusivos para la Educación Fiscal en el Ecuador

This study analyzes the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and gamification as inclusive resources in Ecuador's public education system. Given the current challenges related to equity, student motivation, and access to technological tools, a mixed-approach research approach is proposed, applied to 40 public institutions nationwide. Four hundred teachers and 800 students were surveyed, and interviews and focus groups were conducted. The results show high teacher acceptance of AI as a pedagogical support, as well as notable student motivation to participate in gamified activities. However, regional gaps in technological access were identified, being more critical in rural areas and the Amazon. The research concludes that the proper integration of these technologies can significantly contribute to more equitable and participatory education, provided it is accompanied by public policies, teacher training, and inclusive resources. The need to strengthen institutional capacities to ensure sustainable implementation consistent with the objectives of educational quality and social justice is highlighted.
