CRC-COVLIB: A Publicly Available Propagation Resource to Facilitate Wireless Signal Predictions utilizing Geospatial Data and Propagation Models

This paper provides details on CRC-COVLIB, a propagation resource to facilitate large-scale simulations for interference and coverage analyses. This publicly available resource is comprised of a library of propagation models and geodata extraction capabilities for propagation predictions for terrestrial and non-terrestrial applications. The capabilities of the propagation resource are outlined through an assessment of International Telecommunication Union-Radiocommunication recommended models for predicting propagation characteristics millimetre-wave bands. A model of a dense urban environment was implemented for simulations using the ITU-R P.1411 and ITU-R P.452 propagation models.
