Performance Analysis of Li-Fi Systems in Various Underwater Environment for High-Speed Underwater Optical Communication
This paper investigates the performance of light-fidelity (Li-Fi) technology for underwater wireless optical communication (UWOC), addressing the limitations of traditional acoustic and radio frequency systems. By developing a robust channel model that incorporates environmental factors such as absorption, scattering, and turbulence, this paper demonstrates that Li-Fi can achieve high data rates in optimal conditions. This paper employs the Beer-Lambert law to quantify light attenuation and analyzes various aquatic environments to optimize system performance. The findings reveal that Li-Fi offers significant advantages for real-time applications in marine exploration and monitoring, providing high-speed connectivity while overcoming challenges posed by underwater conditions. This paper establishes a foundational framework for future developments in UWOC, emphasizing the transformative potential of Li-Fi technology to enhance underwater communication capabilities across diverse environments.
