Impact of Heart Failure and Chronic Kidney Disease on All‐Cause Mortality in Patients Undergoing Coronary Angiography: Results From the Finnish Kardio Multicentre Registry
In patients undergoing coronary angiography, HF and CKD were each independently associated with a twofold increased risk of all-cause mortality. Interaction effects suggest that the co-occurrence of HF and CKD synergistically amplifies this risk. These findings highlight the importance of identifying and managing cardiorenal comorbidity to improve outcomes in this high-risk population.
