Tinjauan Mengenai Proses Administrasi Pendaftaran Pasien Rawat Jalan di Rumah Sakit Ukrida Jakarta Barat
Advances in information technology have brought significant changes to the healthcare system, particularly in administrative aspects such as outpatient registration. Effective and efficient administrative processes are crucial to ensure smooth healthcare delivery. This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the outpatient registration administration system at Ukrida Hospital, West Jakarta. The study was conducted through a 22-day fieldwork internship (PKL) using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection methods included direct observation of work processes, participation in operational activities, and documentation from the admissions unit. The results indicate that Ukrida Hospital has a structured registration system supported by 13 administrative staff and clear standard operating procedures (SOPs). The registration process includes steps ranging from identity verification and data validation to printing queue numbers and referrals. However, in practice, technical challenges persist, particularly in the use of biometric devices such as fingerprint scanners. System failures often occur due to the patient's age and skin condition, leading to delays and inconvenience during the registration process. As a solution, the use of the Mobile JKN application integrated with the hospital system has been shown to improve the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of the registration process. This innovation also encourages patients to be more independent in accessing healthcare services. This study concluded that although Ukrida Hospital has implemented significant administrative digitization, efforts to improve service quality are still needed, particularly through staff training, optimizing technology systems, and increasing patient awareness of the benefits of digital services.
