Analytical Method for Equivalent Magnetic Performance of Laminated Composite Shielding Device Considering 3-D Magnetic Field Components

The laminated composite shielding device consisting of nanocrystalline and permalloy (PN-LCSD) can shield the magnetic interference for sensors and measuring devices better than the conventional methods. The equivalent magnetic performance (EMP) of PN-LCSD is the primary condition for its effectiveness evaluation. However, existing calculation methods for EMP are based on unidirectional magnetic fields, ignoring the superposition influence of 3D magnetic field components in space on PN-LCSD, which brings difficulties to the accurate evaluation of PN-LCSD’s performance. Therefore, an EMP analytical method for PN-LCSD considering 3D magnetic field components is proposed in this paper, enabling the computation of its permeability and shielding factor (SF). Firstly, the 3D equivalent permeability analytical method for PN-LCSD is established, and its parameter analysis and simulation verification are carried out. Subsequently, the SF calculation equations considering 3D magnetic field components for PN-LCSD are derived. Finally, the remanence and SF in PN-LCSD are tested, showing only 4.65% and 6.83% maximum deviations between the experimental and theoretical values. The proposed method establishes a foundation for the theoretical analysis of PN-LCSD in 3D magnetic fields.
