FEATURES OF THE GEOTECHNICAL AND HYDROGEOLOGICAL CONDITIONS OF THE HOLY DORMITION PSKOV-PECHERSK MONASTERY TERRITORY. THE DANGEROUS GEOLOGICAL PROCESSES MONITORING

Based on the complex of engineering surveys carried out, the article considers in detail the engineer - ing, geological and hydrogeological conditions of the Pskov-Pechersk Monastery. Based on the features of the geo- morphological and geological-lithological structure, the most dangerous geological processes are identified, such as flooding and landslide formation, which pose the greatest danger to the preservation of historical structures, unique caves and the ancient landscape of the monastery. In conclusion, the results of the monitoring of landslide processes, which have been carried out for more than five years, are considered in detail.
