Uso de aplicativo no acompanhamento de mães e gestantes: estudo descritivo
INTRODUCTION: Pregnancy is a phase that involves major biopsychosocial transformations, which alters your mental processes and your role in social and family relationships. Furthermore, digital technologies are emerging as an important alternative to support networks for women during pregnancy and postpartum. OBJECTIVE: to describe the profile, verify the use of the “Pastoral da Criança + Gestante” application, and identify the satisfaction with social support of children's pastoral leaders and pregnant women and mothers of children aged 0 to 6 years. METHOD: This is a cross-sectional, descriptive study, with 26 mothers of children aged 0 to 6 years and 8 leaders of Pastoral da Criança. Collection occurred through the application of a semi-structured interview and the Social Support Satisfaction Scale. Held at three different times, after a Children's Pastoral action in three communities, indicated by the regional leader, in the city of Imperatriz-MA. RESULTS: The results on the use of the application by pregnant women and/or mothers showed that (n=17, 65.4%) are aware of the application, but do not use it, (n=8, 30.8%) do not know, and (n=1, 3.8%) have been using for less than 1 year. Of these, (n=18, 69.2%) reported difficulties accessing the internet, and (n=8, 30.8%) have easy access. FINAL CONSIDERATIONS: Although the Pastoral da Criança + Gestante application is widely known, its effective use is limited by difficulties in accessing the internet and lack of familiarity with technology, which highlights the need for strategies to improve digital inclusion.
